1. Human first
Start with each family's situation. Keep consent, caregiver permissions and consequential decisions with authorized people.
Our approach
Medicare care changes can involve a loved one, a health plan, a provider, a notice and a deadline. PETOHMI helps people find a clear next step while its research and governance capabilities are being built for a more connected future.
Our product, research and accountability model share five commitments. Each one supports a specific human outcome.
Start with each family's situation. Keep consent, caregiver permissions and consequential decisions with authorized people.
Use official notices and traceable sources. Keep uncertainties visible and distinguish research from confirmed outcomes.
Recognize when Medicare, the health plan, a clinician, legal counsel or an authorized representative must decide.
Keep source ownership, privacy and access permissions attached to knowledge as it moves through a governed research workflow.
Measure meaningful progress and independently confirmed outcomes. Completing a step alone does not establish that the underlying problem is resolved.
Understand common care-interruption notices and what to look for.
Ask a plain-language question and get a bounded explanation.
Identify what happened and prepare the appropriate human next step.
Check the source, the pathway and the role of each decision-maker.
Track the situation toward a confirmed outcome or a handoff the family agrees to.
The public Guide is a preview experience. Individual capabilities vary by workflow; access to a Guide does not establish that all follow-through and professional services are active.
In research and validation
A dedicated research capability is being designed to compare audiences, identify care-navigation gaps, study global practices and test the evidence behind proposed improvements.
International opportunities are research topics. PETOHMI's initial service remains focused on Medicare care interruption.
Governed integration in development
The M2M platform provides a separate knowledge and governance foundation. PETOHMI's planned connection would retrieve only approved, source-attributed research excerpts through explicit permissions.
M2M retains custody of its knowledge. PETOHMI maintains its own identity, situation boundaries and decisions. The cross-platform catalog access is not yet a live feature of this website.
We are developing benefit-performance measures for Prepare engagement, Resolve activation, notice-pathway accuracy, authorized handoffs, independently verified dispositions, user clarity and privacy safeguards.
Those measures need approved instrumentation and reliable real-world baselines before we can present performance results. By default, the PETOHMI model does not require employee rosters. Employer reporting is designed around suitable aggregate results with privacy review.
Research evidence stays separate from personal situations. PETOHMI does not permit a research agent to decide medical necessity, submit an appeal without proper authority, inspect an employer's individual cases, or treat an unverified source as final truth.
